Fattorie Solidali is a social cooperative founded in 2007 as a spin-off of the agricultural sector of the Cooperativa Sociale Alicenova, a historic cooperative in the Viterbo area with thirty years of experience in personal services.

The Cooperativa Fattorie Solidali runs an organic farm made up of three social farms: the "Fattoria di Alice" in Viterbo, the "Fattoria Sociale Ortostorto" in Montalto di Castro and the "Fattoria Crocevia" in Nepi.

The mission of the Cooperative is to use cultivation and related activities to create a work and social space suitable for people with disabilities, mental health problems, pathological addictions, and young people with severe social disadvantage. The resulting agricultural products are the synthesis of all the experiences lived by these people and contain extraordinary life stories; behind every product created there are, in fact, people who enrich it with their humanity, their experiences, their paths.

Sémina, from the land for the people is the brand that embodies Fattorie Solidali's experience in social agriculture and enhances the fresh and processed products of its farms.

“The idea, which has become reality, that it is possible through agricultural activity to return to oneself, to structure a self. A process facilitated by the rhythms of nature, which accompany the person to a re-appropriation of himself. A choice that embraces the social dimension, promoting a model of agricultural business and local development that is sustainable from an economic, social and environmental point of view." The Sémina brand products include: fresh vegetables and fruit, advanced first range products, jams, marmalades, sweet and savory compotes, sweet and sour sauces, tomato puree, fruit nectars and extra virgin olive oil.

They are sold directly in the places of production (shops, markets), on our farms and to Solidarity Purchasing Groups (GAS). In this way, not only the freshness and seasonality of the products is guaranteed, but also a low environmental impact and above all a low and accessible cost for the consumer. The Cooperative also supplies local school canteens with 0 km organic products.

All Sémina brand products are organic and certified by Bioagricert and adhere to the collective brands "Tuscia Social Green" and "Typical quality products Tuscia Viterbese".
