The volcanic land of Mazzi Mirella farm is located in the municipalities of Ischia di Castro and Farnese, halfway between the Bolsena lake and the Tyrrhenian Sea at 400 metres above sea level. The farm cultivates 3,000 olive trees, as well as vineyards, wild fennel and lesser calamint. The farm is certified organic since 2008 and the only olive cultivar grown is Canino. Harvesting takes place mechanically from 15th October to 15th December. Pressing takes place in a continuous cycle system in its own Pieralisi oil mill within 24 hours. The farm produces an average of 9,000 litres per year.
