Olivicola di Canino is a cooperative founded in 1988, where 240 members are currently registered who cultivate olive groves located in the Canino (VT) area, one of the most evocative in the world.

For this reason, all members adhere to the EEC Regulations which dictate rules for the adoption of eco-compatible cultivation techniques, with limited use of fertilizers and pesticides.

Some of the companies follow the organic cultivation method.

The olive growing members, more than for economic purposes, are united by a common passion for the olive tree and oil; their main purpose is to address those expert consumers with whom they can share this passion and appreciate together the excellence of a superior product. For years, our Cooperative has pursued the objective of producing high quality extra virgin olive oil and enhancing the typical nature of its product through a production chain with attention to the smallest details.

In our production of extra virgin olive oil, in addition to the traditional "Sapori di Terra Etrusca" oil, for the most demanding, we must mention the "DOP Canino", the ORGANIC and finally the BIO/DOP.

For the production of "ORGANIC" and "DOP Canino BIO" extra virgin olive oil, the quantity is limited compared to other oils, they are produced exclusively from olives coming from olive groves certified for Organic Agriculture.

Finally, it should be remembered that our Cooperative operates in this context with respect for the environment, history and culture handed down to us over the millennia by our people, the aim is to enhance over time an extra virgin olive oil which, despite being at top quality, it does not yet occupy the leading position it deserves on the market.
